Find imei number on my cell phone

The IMEI number for your cell phone is a unique identifier for that device. No two have the same IMEI so it is very useful for tracking lost or stolen phones. There are several different ways to find the IMEI of your device, as outlined below.

1. Dial the IMEI code
   You can view the IMEI number on almost any phone by dialling in the universal code *#06# (asterisk, hash, zero, six, hash). Usually, you don’t need to press anything else for it to appear on your screen.
2. Check the packaging
   The IMEI number is usually printed on the box that your cell phone came in next to barcodes and the Serial Number.
3. Check under the battery
   If you have an older cell phone with removable battery, the IMEI number is usually printed beneath the battery.
