Apple’s new iPad Pro – spec and release information

Last month, Apple announced details about the new Apple iPad Pro, which lead to divided opinions about the device. Apple has set a release date of November 2015, but we are yet to know the exact date of this $800 tablet.

The new Apple iPad Pro will include a 12.9 inch screen, comparing to the 9.7 inch iPad Air, adding 3.2 inches to the already ‘barely portable’ iPad. However, this gigantic screen allows for a 2732×2048 HD retina display, which means the iPad Pro has more pixels than the 13 inch MacBook Pro. In addition to the extraordinary quality of the display, the increase in size means that apple have managed to integrate speakers on all four corners of the device. No, they are not front facing, but it is still a feature which will improve sound quality, especially for watching movies, which will go hand in hand with the size. Continue reading →

iOS9 release date and features

The Apple Watch has finally landed, here’s why I won’t be getting one

You heard right, Apple have finally launched the Apple Watch this week, it will be available for order from April 10 and in stores across the globe from April 24.

We all know that the Apple Watch looks very pretty indeed, but does it provide the functionality that will make it more than a fashion accessory and more of a useful addition to the iPhone that you are already carry around? In my opinion – no. It is overpriced, limited in terms of functionality and has a battery life that means it can’t be used as a permanent addition to your arm. Continue reading →

iPad Air 2 details leaked ahead of launch event

Apple have accidentally dropped the ball by leaking images and details of the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 models ahead of the much anticipated launch at their headquarters in Cupertino today.

Screenshots of the iPad User Guide for iOS 8.1 on iTunes included photos, naming and a few details of the two new devices, much to their embarrassment. Continue reading →
