Last Thursday, Motorola announced the launch of the latest instalment of the Motorola range, with the new Motorola Moto X Force. The new Motorola is the alternative, international variant of the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, and so now, this phone will be available worldwide.
The device will set you back around $750, and so, what do you get for your money?
Well firstly, the Motorola includes a 5.4 inch quad HD screen, with a resolution of 1440×2560, and so it offers a large, good quality display. Not only this, Motorola promise to supply what they call the ‘Shattershield’ screen. This means that the device includes an aluminium, rigid core, flexible screen which is a fancy way of saying that it is completely shatter proof, as well as water proof. However, it does include the ‘Dual Layer’ screening, just in case the initial screen does crack. For many smart phone users, this is a massive break through, decreasing the probability of a broken screen. This particular attribute of the phone has been tried and tested by many, and as it stands, their outrageous shatterproof guarantee seems to have been proved correct.
The material on the back of the phone shows a unique cover made from ‘durable ballistic nylon’ which adds to the indestructible effect of the Motorola.
Shatterproof Motorola technical specs
The Smartphone is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-core processor, alongside 3GB of RAM, and is available in both 32GB and 64GB models. This processor makes the phone the most powerful Motorola to date. Also, the MicroSD card slot is featured for both versions of the phone, and this particular device does support 4G LTE.
The software of the Motorola makes use of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, rather than the 6.0 Marshmallow, which we now see, after the software update, on most Android phones. On top of that, the 3760mAh battery allows for 48 hours of usage, after being fully charged. But this is only the case when using the new and improved 25 watt charger adapter, which does come with the phone.
Motorola Moto X Force camera
Finally, the photography of the Moto X Force is to be taken advantage of, with the stunning 21MP rear facing camera. The front facing camera is slightly less impressive, but still fairly satisfactory, with its 5MP capabilities, as well as the LED front facing flash. This will without a doubt, ensure those selfies are bright and clear. The camera is easily accessible with a flick of the wrist, which is an easy shortcut for the camera application.
